Its working principle is based on the core structure and characteristics of the fuse: the base serves as a fixed component, connecting the circuit through contacts and wiring terminals, and the fuse link (including the melt) is installed on the base to form a path
During normal operation, current flows through the melt, and the heat generated by the melt is not sufficient to cause it to melt; When the circuit is overloaded or short circuited, excessive current passes through the melt, and the heat generated by it causes the melt to melt (the melt material is low melting point lead tin alloy or high melting point copper, silver, etc., and the melting characteristics are controlled by narrow neck or mesh structure design), thereby cutting off the circuit. Some fuse links are also equipped with a melting indicator, which pops up a red signal after the melt melts, making it easy to troubleshoot. The 3P model is suitable for three-phase circuits and can protect three-phase lines at the same time.
